American Orchid Society Judged Orchid Shows, Ribbon Judging, Trophies and Exhibits
That's just the beginning.
The Denver Orchid Society has thrived for Seventy-Two years of orchid-growing success.
The Denver Orchid Society began in 1951 as a group of friends passionate about orchids. Our group has always had a delightful time and wanted like-minded orchid growers to benefit from our orchid-growing adventure!
We also learn together and pool resources to support activities and expert talks.
Since those humble beginnings, we've grown to over 70 members strong, and we're expanding year after year, providing valuable resources and benefits to our orchid-growing community.
Keith Funk has been a member for over 30 years, and he sums up membership eloquently:
"I joined to learn more about growing orchids, but I keep coming back for the community we've fostered and the incredible experiences we share. I look forward to every meeting I can attend and have learned so much from the expert speakers I would never have access to on my own. I love supporting this group through the nominal dues and volunteering to help with events every chance I get. It's been a blessing, and I can't wait to see what the next 10 years bring!" – Keith Funk.
